Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 Patch
Very very good sounds for the hip-hop or dance music producer. Includes some very bass heavy drum kits and basses. This version of the Mo'Phat has a red instead of purple front panel. These sell for around $225 as this is a pretty rare module. Virtuoso 2000. 64 Meg sound set with the Orchestral Collection V1 + V2 ROMS installed.
Great range of orchestral sounds. Somewhat dated next to modern mutli-gigabyte software libraries but this is still a nice module. Expect to pay $200 or more for one of these. 512 patches of classic synth and keyboard sounds. Special panel design with vintage style knobs. Pretty rare and comes up for sale very rarely.
Proteus 2000 Review
These look and sound so good you would probably be looking at $400 if you can find one. Orbit 3 Super Synth. 1024 patches by dutch sound designer Rob Papen. This is possibly the best techno / dance module ever produced. Fitted with the Beat Garden and Techno Synth Construction Yard ROMs. Again these rarely come up for sale anywhere.
Expect to pay $350 for one of these. Proteus 2500. 32 Meg pop collection ROM which is the original composer sample set with newer preset patches.
This is the best module E-mu produced. Includes the sequencer from the command station grooveboxes and the same 16 real-time control knobs. This is basically a workstation module.
32 part multi-timbral but only a single set of MIDI ports which is a limitation in ways. This is a large 4 unit rack as opposed to 1 unit which was the form factor for every other module in the range. Load one of these with expansion ROMs and you have a very powerful synth! One of the last hardware units to be made by E-MU so relatively rare. Expect to pay $330 for one of these or more if additional ROMs are fitted.
