I just recently finished playing Saya no Uta and it was one of the most brilliant visual novels i've ever played. I've since devoted my time to finding other works similar to it. One of which I found was the manga Sugar Dark, which has similar themes to Saya no Uta, and I would recommend it to anyone who. One of which I found was the manga Sugar Dark, which has similar themes to Saya no Uta, and I would recommend it to anyone who liked Saya. Now I ask anyone who enjoyed Saya no Uta as much as I did, what other works are there that are similar to it?

A Visual Novel / H-Game by Nitro+, Saya no Uta ('Song of Saya') revolves around a medical school student, Fuminori Sakisaka. Before the main plot, he was.

Unfortunately I cannot read Japanese, so please only recommend works with an English translation. Best Answer: I would recommend almost every visual novel from Nitroplus (the company that made Saya no Uta). A majority of Nitroplus's works include themes that are shown in Saya no Uta (madness, goreć…”just dark themes in general). Chaos;Head is a similar game compared to Saya no Uta. But Chaos;Head isn't as gory, and it's a lot more complex.

A Visual Novel / H-Game by Nitro+, Saya no Uta ('Song of Saya') revolves around a medical school student, Fuminori Sakisaka. Before the main plot, he was. Maybe kind of in the horror aspect for both. Saya No Uta is my second favorite visual novel of all time and I would love to find something similar.

But the theme of madness/insanity is very emphasized in this game. Steins;Gate is also like Chaos;Head, but a little more. That's probably not the most appropriate word for this. Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate are both from Nitroplus and there is an English patch out there (I haven't played Steins;Gate (but there probably is an English patch), and for Chaos;Head, there are a lot of places to get the English patch). If you're okay with shounen-ai (basically, a visual novel mostly emphasized on gay men, at least when it comes to romance) then I'd suggest Sweet Pool or Dramatical Murder (which are also from Nitroplus). The downside is that neither of these have an official English patch yet, but on YouTube, there is a tutorial to get something like a Google Translate to run with Sweet Pool.

In my opinion, I think Sweet Pool is very similar to Saya no Uta; when I first played it, I noticed how similar the plots were (at least, in my opinion). I think that Sweet Pool is the closest game similar to Saya no Uta, that I've played so far. It took me over six hours to fully install the game (and the translator), but it was definitely worth it. There are some rated scenes between the character and other men, but if you're not into that kind of stuff, I still suggest playing it. Just skip over those scenes, because I think the overall story is amazing. (And there are also many, many, many summaries of these two games online, so if you do play Sweet Pool with the translator (which will probably be really confusing, since it has no sense of grammar structure), I'd suggest you to follow along with some summaries.

Saya

That's what I did, and I didn't have any questions after finishing the game.) This is the YouTube video that I followed along to download and install Sweet Pool. And don't worry, this works on Windows 7. And these are some summaries that have helped me to understand the storyline. Even if you don't play the game, I really recommend at least reading these summaries. They sound really funny, honestly, but the game is very serious and tense. Some other games that I recommend are.

Kara no Shoujo and Corpse Party Blood Covered. I haven't played Corpse Party Blood Covered, but I heard that it's really good (along with Divi-Dead).

Kara no Shoujo is a game that I'm almost finished with at the moment. It has a strange setting, compared to most other visual novels. It's in the 1940's and it's about a man named Reiji. He's a detective, and he's basically given a case to solve these weird strings of murders revolving schoolgirls. This visual novel is a lot more interactive than most visual novels, and the story is very, very complex. At first, it might seem confusing and kind of ridiculous, but after getting a couple endings, you'll realize that several events and several people are tied together in unexpected ways. It's gory at some scenes, and has a lot of rated scenes as well.

A little more tamer than Saya no Uta, but I really think you'd enjoy it after getting a few more endings. When you find out who the killer is, and his motives, it'll (maybe) remind you of Fuminori.

At least, it did for me. And if you haven't watched/read this series, I really suggest Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. There is also a visual novel for this, but I don't recommend it, simply because the 'art' in the game is very childish, so much that I can not take it seriously. And I also think the anime/manga are better at that 'horror' mood. The themes in Higurashi are very similar to those in Saya no Uta; there's people that go insane, a lot of gore, killing, no cannibalism, but still very similar to Saya no Uta. And another series I recommend is Kara no Kyoukai.

It's seven movies (ranging from thirty minutes to two hours). It has a few themes similar to Saya no Uta. But I recommend this series because the art in it is the best animated art that I've ever seen, period.

I can't really summarize without giving away spoilers, but this series emphasizes on psychological themes. In a way, Saya and Fuminori from Saya no Uta remind me of the two main characters in Kara no Kyoukai (in a general idea). Kara no Kyoukai is kind of confusing, and I think it's a lot more mature than most other animated series, and it's style is very different from Saya no Uta's.

So, I suggest watching this if you don't have any plans or something. This answer is so long. Tell us some more. Upload in progress.
